Frequently Asked Questions

Clear, authoritative explanations regarding consultations, referrals, and diagnostic expectations.

A neuro-ophthalmologist is a specialized physician who diagnoses and treats visual problems originating from the optic nerve, brain pathways, and central nervous system—rather than issues isolated within the eye itself.

You should see a neuro-ophthalmologist if you experience sudden unexplained vision loss, persistent double vision, optic nerve swelling (papilledema), visual field loss following a stroke, or fluctuating eyelid droop and eye pain that standard optical exams cannot explain.

While many of our patients are referred by ophthalmologists, optometrists, neurologists, and primary care physicians, we also welcome self-referrals. Please contact our office at 405-906-2405 to discuss scheduling and insurance verification.

Our practice is located in Edmond, Oklahoma at 1800 S Renaissance Blvd, Suite 120, Edmond, OK 73013, easily accessible from the entire Oklahoma City metropolitan area via I-35 and the Kilpatrick Turnpike.
